BBQ and Playtime

Yesterday was simply amazing.

Although it started off a bit annoying as I woke up at half 5 with stomachpains and didn't really get to fall asleep again untill I passed out from around 8-11.

At roundabouts 15:00 we went grilling at Veronica's. We had ... stuff that I either don't know how to spell in english, or I think the translation is retarded. You can see it here and name it however you want:

Daeva is our ( other ) resident photographer ;D

Screw cutlery, make your caveman instincts proud!

Veronica is tending the grill :D

So, yea. I think we all can agree that cutlery suck:

We managed to get Chris and Petter out of the house to play with us ;)

After playing Ninja and several other games, like red and green light and catch the pole, we disbanded. Being bored with just sitting behind a laptop ( yes, it does happen) I went down to Daeva's and we played Trivial Pursuit and looked at pictures and attempted to watch Jumanji :D

Pretty Catty :3

I won at TP, yays :D

How to find stuff you had forgotten you lost.

Look for something else!

Yesterday while cleaning my room, I found some necklaces and bracelets that I'd kept in a little box with hairclips and stuff when I moved home for summer, and instead of putting them in a drawer, I wanted to put them in my jewlery box, which I was certain I put in my closet. I looked and looked, and atlast I found a drawer (a big box with wheels) in said closet and wondered if it was in there. It wasn't, but guess what was? The fucking contract to my car that I thought I lost last year! No, I hadn't forgotten it, I remembered it every day and felt bad about it every time I looked at my mom or a motorized vehicle, but now that I found it, we can send it in to those people who force people to pay their bills and finally get my money from that sleazy bastard who thought he could screw me over like that.

Didn't find my jewlery box though. I have no idea where that is :/

Later on I got contact with Theo on facebookchat, which made me happy as I've barely spoken to him since I left Oxford.

Someone's making fries... I want...

At about nine, I went to Veronica's and we drank coffee and played The legend of Zelda and just had an overall good time. So yeah, seeing as my room is now almost clean, I mean there's a few things on some tables that I haven't put in their place yet ( simply because I don't know what place they belong in) and then ish all good :3

Clock is now 10 to 13, I guess I should get out of bed x)

I'M CLEANING MY ROOM!

Yes, I know, unbe-fucking-leavable, isn't it? I wouldn't believe it if I weren't here to see it myself, but that's how it is.

My room hadn't reached nuclear yet, as my room at Wheatley was for quite some time, but I got kind of tired of not finding things. Like my scissors! I found them today on the bottom of a pile of stuff, clothing and scrapbooking paper in one of the couches :D
Lucky me, that means I can start scrapbooking again, Nicholas, you will soon move away from your space on my printer and into a book behind Nanduck. Oh aren't you just the luckiest ;)

Sadly, I couldn't find any big garbage bags so all my trash is currently in a green basket which we usually use to transport laundry, very much like my purple bucket that fucks everything.

I didn't take a "before" shot, but if you know me and I say my room was messy, I'm sure you have an idea. Might take a "after" shot though.

Also, I found some speakers under the couch. They are quite old and the sound sucks, but I was almost killing the speakers on my laptop, so I don't mind it, really.

Forever a Fresher

So, as people might have noticed, I failed my first year of uni. I have 7 out of 8 modules down, but they were all compulsory, so should I wish to continue in the direction I opted for, I need to retake. Exactly how this is going to work I do not know yet, I am waiting for an e-mail from the head of the field. Of Modern languages that is, I would never dare to e-mail Suzuka the white, even though she was quite pleasant at my retake.

One of the things I am considering is dropping out of Japanese, and get my degree in something else. Like Nantha did. I mean, if I change fields to f.eks Anthropology or History, I will still be able to work with something I like, and I'll finish in four hears as originally intended. Also I'd hve a title, like Anthropologist or Historian.

When it comes to Japanese, I love the language, I love the culture because it differs so greatly from the one I come from, and even if it kills me, so help me cow, by the time I graduate, I will speak that language. Wether I take it as a degree or beg Lucchan and Vicchan to teach me. It wouldn't be much difference in as they have practically taught me all I know already.

Eiteher way I will be back at Brookes this autumn. That is the one thing I know for sure right now. Thatand the fact that I have 27 days left of being a teenager. FFS I don't want to be old -.-

Luna VS the Nutrition Wheel. Muhahahahahahaa.

Part 1: Vegetables.

Being goddamned tired and a bit ashamed of myself for the diet I've been sporting the last few weeks ( the nonsense they serve in the cantine and pasta or rice at most other occasions) I decided to try and be more healthy for the umptienth time in my life. That and I was craving food with some actual taste to it.

So, out of the memories of what kind of things I could expect to find in my grandma's vegetable soup, I went to Asda and bought what I could find. 'Bout an hour later I was standing in the kitchen with
1 onion
2 carrots
1 leek
1 small bag of small new potatoes
some beef
and 1 big yellow thing which I have no idea what's called in english (kålrabi, tror jeg det var)

It was quite a nice experience to do some actual cooking; I even cut myself, muhaha, I am a proper household chef now! (∩_∩)

The result was awesome, I was proper proud of myself for managing to cook something that actually tasted nice. But as always, there are room for improvements, and what I think I'll try and change next time is:

add
• Seleri root
• ginger
• cinnamon
• whole black pepper corns
eto.... I think that is it, any ideas?

also, I'll cut up the beef bits, they were quite the challenge to get through at times ._.

Yellow root-thingie stew

I cut up some of the big yellow root and put it in boiling water to make it warm and moist and, well, mashable. It took half an eternity, but eventually I got there. I added "fine herbs" ( some spice Theo bought me which contained parsley among other things...no idea what parsley is, but it tasted nice ^-^ ) I put in milk, butter and salt, so along the ride it might have lost it's healthyness, but it would still be better than shitty 10p Asda noodles, mais non?

improvements for later:

I do not need that much salt !!!
( when will I ever learn ⊙︿⊙ )

That's it for now, I guess,
except that I've been good today and revised BEFORE a lecture, muha ha!.
I've also been listening to Postgirobygget all day, yess I know what you back home might think, but my mind just doesen't seem to grasp the fact that it's february and not april. Fudging hell, even april is too early to play Postgirobygget though, so I guess I don't really have any excuse...
I just missed my language and wanted some happy music, is that so wrong?

Edit:
I made a vampire smiley, look:
(•︻•)
Ntaww, he ish sho cute! ^-^

Batteries included

So here I'm sitting, once again waiting for the clock to tick towards a more desired hour. Actually I'm waiting for the next bus which leaves at about 5 past, for then to go to Headington, get chinese food, wait 20 minutes and then go back home :3 I really wanted chinese today >.<

My day this far has been fairly relaxed. Before this weekend started, I had decided that since Allen decided to flee Wheatley to visit her friend in Idon'trellyknowwhatit'scalled, I would get some studying done. But plans never turn out the way they were supposed to, too many people can back me up on that statement, sadly.

Also, listening to the song from Robot Unicorn Attack at the moment, which means that I currently have the website up and it's playing on repeat. Geez, sooner or later I have to get tired of this song >.<

I watched the rest of season 5 of Dexter last night, not going to drop any spoilers, but it was awesome ( as I would expect from whatever crew makes this series ) and it pains me that the next season ( which might also be the last D: ) is so far away. However, since I watched a total of about 5 episodes last night, starting at an hour past nothing, I didn't fall asleep before the sun was about to rise again. That was a joke; the weather is terrible at the moment, I haven't seen the sun in ages :s

I woke up at around 10AM, squirmed about a bit in pointless self pity for having to wake up and went down to have breakfast. While standing in the foyer, I suddenly changed my mind and wandered back up, despite the fact that I was starving. I don't think I ate breakfast before around 1 o'clock. Shhh! Don't tell Mommy!

Other than that, the day went mostly on with me telling myself I needed to go to asda, a task I postponed untill the clocked ticked to around 4, when I got my stuff and went downstairs. Once outside, I came up with the brilliant idea of checking my mail, knowing myself well enough to foresee that if I postponed it to after the Asda trip, I would forget it. I walked in and found to my job, and dread ( it would mean I would have to walk back up the stairs again with said package), that I actually had mail. Expecting it to be the schoolbooks I ordered a few days ago, I carried it back up, trying to reason that walking up and down stair would only do good to a lazy student such as myself - unless I tripped in the legs of my harempants and fell down the stairs again - that is. Leaving the package in my room, I finally went to asda, almost getting literary blown away in the attempt, and got quite a lot of stuff. Stuff that included two bottles of washing up liquid, it seems people ate the last bottle I had -.-'

When I joked to the cashier lady that I was not looking forward to walking back to good ole' Wheatley campus with all this stuff, suddenly the lady behind me in the queye, queu quee HOW THE BLOODY HELL DO YOU SPELL "QUEUE"! (you know, the line people tend to stand in, waiting for stuff) Anyways, she offered to give me a lift home.

:D

OMFG, I was so happy ( and surpriced) over her kindness, there really are too few nice people who reveal their nice-ness to the world nowadays. Her name is Jean, I want everyone to know that, aww, nice lady; bless her in every way imaginable.

When I came home, I debated with myself whether I wanted to unpack my package ( the mail-thingie) or the stuff I had bought. Sense brought me to the last option, seing as I had frozen stuff in my bag that I'd rather have stay frozen.

Things I ended up doing after that was;
Finally getting my clean clothes into the wardrobe,
and
unpack package.

It did not contain schoolbooks :D
it was my polaroid camera, fuck yes!
S U P E R H A P P Y ! !

My mind was kinda in a "what do?" state as I investigated my new toy and tried to figure out how to feed it with film and how to make it work in general. After a while I figured out that it ran on 4 AA batteries.. I think, y'know, the ones you used on your gameboy color. Aww, I miss that machine, I need to kidnap it next time I'm in Norway. I went a bit "Fuck, can't play with it untill I get batteries", before I out of instinct looked down into the box, fully aware of the fact that no one does "batteries included" anymore. Infact, nothing runs on batteries anymore, just that was a kind of shock, so you might understand where my confusion came from when I saw theese two packages of batteries down there. Seriously? Batteries included?

This little discovery kind of made my day~

Other than that, Sam, Andy and I had chinese food for dinner ( complicated take-away procedure, but it worked out in the end) and Samantha stole my knickers.... Ah, Just another day at Wheatley~

Now I was about to go to bed and then suddenly Petter talked to me on msn O.O

I didn't know he could talk O.o
(inb4; yes, that was a joke)

Morning glory

The sun is awesome again, I really love the wiew from my window, especially when I have such loving sunlight. Only thing I don't like is when Wheatley Tower get's in the way for about ... sumthingsumthing hours. sigh.

ehm, obviously, my schedule yesterday failed epicly when I got to the "reading of the introduction of Titus Andronicus" part. Sweet Jebas that was boring. I got to do most my laundry though, I was somewhat a good girl :3

Later on, we ( Allen, Sam and me) went into town to see Black Swan. However, the screening was sold out, so we bought tickets to the next one and headed over to Spoons.

I am sorry Nic, but I do like Spoons better than the pub. Sure the Pub has a more intimate and kozy atmosphere, and sure it has owls, but Spoons has Jeremiah sweet Weed tea, I'll rephrase that: Spoons has things I like to drink, spoons makes me feel more confident. I Hate sitting there in the pub, drinking my ladies drink because I think that beer and ale taste like fungi. Doesen't make it better when you go about with your talks about being manly, and I sit there, feeling less about myself because I am not, nor want to be manly. I guess I would have to have grown up in the pub like you do to see the full charm of it. And I'm still sorry for the way I sent that text.

Now that's said, I need to write something semi-cheerfull as well, or I'll fall into a pit of depression again. What's on the list of things to do today is:
- do the rest of the laundry, bleh.
- study japanese on my own.
- go into Headington, try and locate the asia-food store.
- study japanese with Vicchan and Lucchan.
- uhm, sleep?

Try my hardest not to be a poo like I obviously was yesterday.

All hail Wednesday!

I've been trying to get myself down infront of the computer and make a blogpost for agest, but every time I do so, I end up doing other things... like being addicted to a certain facebook game. My problem is, I think, that I do most of my thinking on the bus or in lectures, when I'm incapable of writing them down, and thus, they remain unspoken. No, no that is a lie; I am very good at expressing my thoughts, no matter how off-topic they are, but believe me when I say this, there is a lot more that I don't say.. This is for the sake of your sanity, though at the expence of yours truly. I wouldn't think that is too bad though, as I told Theo; I don't suffer from it, I enjoy every moment of it :D

So, something to put down on the blog, herum-shnerum.. My day thus far:
woke up at around half seven, texted Hannah, asking wether or not it was worth me getting up at such an ungodly hour; in other words, if she would join me for breakfast. I had breakfast with her, only to see her stress about loosing the bus a few moments later and then see her run away in a fashion only Jack Sparrow could mimick. I went upstairs again and, after quickly being a bit more addicted to Ravenwood fair, fell asleep. I woke up for the second time this day, about 8 to 12, now with some intresting new knowledge:

- I still have a thing for a person I thought I had passed ( according to my dreams that is )
- The Philippines is much closer to Norway than you would think.
- Appearantly, there are such a think as rollerskates for animals, and they cost about 1£50. ( why the #☢☣☠~☂ is there no "pound" symbol on this keyboard! )

Hrm, interesting. The to-do list that is today is quite simple but not nescesarilly fun:

- Go through kanji atleast twice
- do laundry
- go through kanji atleast twice
- read Titus Andronicus, atleast get through the introduction
- Go through Kanji atleast twice
Starting to see a pattern here? :p
- eat second lunch
- fill in and study remaining grammar from tuesday
- go through Kanji atleast twice
- if Titus andronicus has not been properly read through, then this is the time to get it done.
- go through Kanji atleast twice
- write some more on novel.

Knowing me, this will probably take all day due to my extreme talent for procrastination, but oh well. If this plan goes through, then help me God, if my test on Friday goes down the drain, someone will feel the effects of my wrath, and they will not be happy about it.

Love Luna~
